John 1:44–46—Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip.

“Come and See” was the primary response given to those who couldn’t understand the work being done by Mother Teresa in Calcutta, when they inquired into how she was able to pull off so much with so little (in her early days). Later, as her fame spread, and donations became more frequent and often larger, she maintained a vigor in her work, spreading world wide with her Sisters of Charity, serving hundreds of thousands. Again when people wondered out loud how she was able to do so much — considered miraculous, she responded with “Come and See.” She truly was the hands and feet of Jesus.
